This article is devoted to the problems of implementing a project office at a machine-building enterprise. The combination of serial production and individual orders is of particular relevance in modern conditions. The purpose of this article is to adapt the concept of implementing a project office to the management structure. The project office is a versatile, highly efficient method that allows you to combine serial and custom production methods. The hypothesis of the project approach to the organization of work of enterprise divisions applying possibility is considered. The tools of the project approach are considered on the example of the product development process in the production of an enterprise in the article. Structural-logical and matrix models of the control system are built. The analysis of responsibility areas and break points is carried out. A new model of interaction between departments is proposed. The division of responsibility into production and administrative components is considered. The situation of the order division into subprojects according to the stages of the production process of the product while maintaining the logic of project management is also discussed. The separation of functions between the administrator and the head of the project for the implementation of an individual order is described. The stages of analysis are accompanied by graphic illustrations, tables that allow you to visually demonstrate the logic of applying the method to the work of the enterprise. As a result, an optimal concept of the process of introducing a new product into production is formed.
