A negative consequence of the market reforms that took place in the 1990s - 2000s in the system of Russian education was the erosion of the all-Russian educational space. The current leadership of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation sets a task to restore the systemic unity of Russian education. In this regard, there is a scientific interest in the meaning of the phrase “a unified educational space”. It should also be noted some of the discursive features of this concept.
