The problem of assertive behavior, which is to be shaped from childhood, is discussed from the perspective of advisory ethics. The author argues that dialogue is an important didactic way of developing assertive behavior, which enables the person to assert himself and defend his rights. This ability also manifests itself in the person’s adequate assessment of himself and others and in their understanding of the value of human dignity.
