The article discusses the concept of discourse. Human beings exist only in the discursive space because they can express their subjectivity and define an intersubjective world only in the living act of thinking. There is the multidimensionality of discursive space: it is constituted by language, knowledge and power, capturing the internal and external movements of a person. The focus of discursive analysis inevitably shifts to the person, because it is he or she who tries to predetermine, to form his/her subjectivity. The very possibility of subjectivity has become possible only after the death of God, the absence of an external predetermining meaning has given rise to the need for an individual formation of a point of reference in the general system of coordinates. It seems that human being has gained autonomy and independence, escaping from the gaze of the authorities. However, the existence of non-discourse for a person is not feasible, and the discourse is historical in its nature. He creates a certain order in which he embeds the subject.
