The present work is devoted to the study of thermoluminescence glow curves and photoluminescence spectra of Li 6Gd(BO 3) 3:Ce crystal-fiber by X-ray and ultraviolet excitation, and comparing the data with those for single-crystal. X-ray-induced luminescence spectra is characterized by low-intensity broad band at 2.95-3.1 eV (400-420 nm) is attributed to the d → f transitions in the Ce 3+ ions. For thermoluminescent glow curves at spectral-integral mode observed four peaks around 142.5, 199.5, 270.5 and 312.5 K. However, for thermoluminescent glow curves at spectral-selective mode not observing emission at 313 nm (3.97 eV) and 400 nm (4.00 eV). Photoluminescence spectra is describe by a broad band at 2.95-3.1 eV (400-420 nm) and a peak in the region 1.93 eV (643 nm).
