The processes, occurring upon Cu isothermal annealing, deformed intensively at room temperature via rolling and torsion under pressure, are investigated by the methods of metallography, durometry, calorimetry and X-ray diffraction analysis. The factors of recovery and recrystallization after torsion are revealed. A degree of metastability and thermal stability of structure, prepared upon intensive cold plastic deformation (ICPD) is evaluated. The results of comparison of the relaxation processes under ICPD via pressure torsion and rolling are discussed.
