In article is considered development of requirements imposed to medical facilities, in particular to military hospitals since 1737 till our time. Authos investigated evolution of separate requirements (location, construction, ventilation, water supply and so on) in time and their influence on design process. Materials from various sources (archival materials, Full Code of laws of the Russian Empire, Building Code, etc.) are collected in this work.
