Method of reciprocal pole figures was applied to study texture formation when cold rolling sheets of VT35 titanium alloy with reductions in area of 25 to 75%. It is shown that (111)[112] orientation is the basic component of formed texture. Coplanar and lateral slip in {110}〈111〉 system is likely to be the main mechanism of plastic deformation on rolling titanium alloy type VT35. Two-component (111)[112], (100)[011] texture results in isotropic mechanical properties of sheets in a rolling plane.
