N2 - Using specimens of armco-iron and steel type 10 a study was made into plastic deformation of multiphase materials according to standard technique of tensile testing and newly developed calculation method. The data obtained are taken into consideration in a generalized model of plastic flow. Comparison of experimental and theoretical data makes it possible to conclude about the suitability of the method proposed for analysis of strain hardening of individual structural constituents in multicomponent systems.
