Structure of the Kh21A13 steel (21.4% Cr, 1.28% N) quenched from 1000°C was studied. The presence of two structural complexes consisting of the α and Cr2N phases in the transformed austenite is shown. The specific features of austenite transformation are discussed, which correspond to two two-phase (α + Cr2N) structure types observed.
