A method is proposed for determining the straightening force, the support reactions of the guide rollers on the curved section, and the position of the neutral line of the strand on a curved continuous casting machine. The given procedure for determining height displacement of the supports takes account of change in the position of the neutral line due to strand straightening. A numerical example is given.
