Problems of rolling conditions influence on texture formation of hot 12 mm, 30 mm, and 40 mm thicknesses strips have been considered. 'Relative strain center length' concept has been used which is correlation between strain center length (l0) and average strip thickness (hm). Relation of these parameters with 09Mn2Si steel microstructure kind has been established. Austenitizing temperature has been 1100°C under 1 h soaking and has provided homogenization and total transformation of initial ferrite-pearlite structure into austenite one. 12 mm, 30 mm, and 40 mm thickness samples have been rolled with reduction degree of 30 percent on 250 mill to obtain different values of l0÷hm. Regularities series of structure formation by plate section have been established as a function of rolling conditions. Rolling regime has been chosen which provides production of fine-grained structure with sufficiently high level of mechanical properties.
