An approach to evaluating product quality using composite quality indicators is considered. The calculation of composite quality indicators of a hot-rolled coupling blank for production strings is considered. Weighted average arithmetic and geometric composite indicators are compared. The study results are used to determine margin for improving the quality of coupling blanks for production strings.
