High-temperature wearing of the alloy XH58KBTIOMB, both uncoated and with the Co-Cr-Al-Y coating was studied under oxidation and sulfide-oxide corrosion conditions. The coating was shown to increase the heat-and corrosion resistance of the alloy. An additional aluminizing by gas-circulation was suggested to further increase its corrosion resistance and protect the cooled internal channels of the gas-turbine blades and vanes.
