N2 - The basic principles of similarity theory and simulation are used to obtain the dependences for relations between the values of briquetting power-and-force parameters in model and full-scale processes. The physical discrepancies, originating in the recalculation of the process parameters, density and strength among them, are revealed. A role of compacting rate effects of the friable materials is shown. The oscillograms of measuring the moments of coke fines briquetting in laboratory press with three-row arrangement of cells are obtained.
