Process of producing the cast iron in blast furnace has been considered. It has been shown that logic-statistical model makes it possible to investigate the process. Program product of the model allows specialist to display heat exchange and reduction operations in the blast furnace. Reducibility of iron ore raw materials can be evaluated. Influence of the reducibility on indexes of blast furnace heat and development of the process has been studied. Results of calculations of conditions of smelting the cast iron have been presented. Efficiency of pellets with new binder has been shown. The binder improves the reducibility.
