To forecast diagrams of strengthening for individual constituents in multicomponent metal systems a technique is proposed which allows to use results of microhardness measurements. Calculation technique and computer software are developed on the basis of experimental determination of strain fields in aluminium during intrusion of conical indentor. Calculation results obtained with the use of technique proposed for the steel type 10 were compared with experimental ones. A good agreement is observed between calculated and experimental curves of strengthening.
