The kinetics of martensite decomposition during tempering of low-carbon steels with carbide-intermetallide strengthening is studied with dilatometric and resistometric methods. The temperature ranges of decomposition in which certain transformations take place are established and the stages of precipitation of secondary phases compared with the composition of the steels and the character of change of their hardness during tempering.
