N2 - Water vapor dissolution in the slag melt model introduced in the paper is based on polymer theory. Calculated data on water dissolution in CaF 2-CaO-SiO2 system melts are presented and compared with the experimental data. The results can be used for mathematical modeling of physicochemical processes of submerging arc welding and special electro-metallurgy.
