The first observation in iron garnet films placed in an ac magnetic field of rotating vortices of giant dynamic domains with comb-shaped boundaries is reported. The amplitude and frequency range within which this phenomenon takes place has been determined, and a qualitative model is proposed for its explanation. © 1996 American Institute of Physics.
