The work is devoted to the results of estimating the mass concentrations of PM2.5 atmospheric aerosol particles based on Cloud-Aerosol Lidar and Infrared Pathfinder Satellite Observations (CALIPSO) satellite lidar measurements in the summer period of 2021. CALIPSO satellite measurements provide information on the extinction coefficient and aerosol type. The Ural Federal District was chosen as the study area. As a result, maps of the spatial distribution of PM2.5 aerosol mass concentrations and aerosol types in the atmospheric layer 100-500 m above ground level were obtained. © 2023 SPIE.
