1. Heating the ZI90-VI maraging steel in the intercritical temperature range leads to the formation of a large amount of stabilized austenite (under certain conditions more than 50%). 2. The wire treated by quenching from the intercritical temperature range has sufficiently high ductility so that this treatment can be used as an intermediate treatment prior to cold plastic deformation.
