N2 - Equations are obtained for one of the basic elements of a measuring and control system: the electromechanical component. By solution and analysis of those equations, the characteristic relationships in the measurement and control of a technological process may be investigated. The influence of the parameters of the measuring system and various technological factors on the dynamic stability is discussed. This approach permits increase in the technological margin of stability and hence in the machining precision for multipurpose machine tools.
