A method for identification of manganese forms in the Bakal siderite ores in which iron occurs as iron carbonates is developed. A method for identification of manganese forms in agglomerated products of these ores is updated. Schemes for phase analysis are proposed and tested on technological samples of siderite ores and their calcined and agglomerated products. © 1998 Kluwer Academic/Plenum Publishers.
