Metallic melts are classified, based on a comparison of the ratios of abscissas of the peaks in the atomic radial-distribution function of the liquid metals to the abscissas of the first peak. The distinguishing features of the melts revealed are in agreement with the ideas about the structural interdependence between the solid and liquid metals and their electronic structures.
