N2 - This paper discusses an active-pulse television system (APTVS) intended for the observation of objects illuminated by laser radiation. The operating range of an APTVS is estimated for the case in which it uses an image converter tube with an oxygen-silver-cesium photocathode and laser illumination at wavelengths of 0.82, 1.06, and 1.57 µm.
