Digital economy is one of the priorities for most countries. The introduction of digital technologies has led to fundamental transformations and defined the trajectory of the global economy and society as a whole. During 2019-2022 there was a powerful reshaping of socio-economic and political models caused by the global pandemic of a new coronavirus infection and the large-scale introduction of new generation digital technologies, now commonly referred to as “end_to-end”, which include artificial intelligence (AI) and robotics, Internet of Things, wireless communication technologies, etc. As practice has already shown, the use of “end-to-end” technologies increases labor productivity by 40%. The state vector of digital technology implementation is becoming the mainstream of the national development of the economy of each country. The main development directions are digitalization of all economic spheres on the basis of breakthrough it-/Smart_technologies, the inclusion of powerful computing systems and devices, as well as the development of artificial intelligence and deep learning neural networks. The effective application of end-to-end digital technologies will determine the level of international competitiveness of both individual companies and countries (associations of countries), as well as the creation of a new regulatory and legislative framework for digitalization processes in the form of digital law. The current stage of the economy digitalization, along with the undoubted positive consequences, gives rise to new technological and organizational and managerial challenges and threats, requiring an adequate response, the development of theoretical foundations and applied models. Particular attention should be paid to environmental security, not only for individual countries, but also on a global scale.
