In extrusion of aluminum alloys the problem adhesive interaction between deformable metal and the tool there is a constantly actual. This in many respects is promoted by rather low extrusion rates and high intensity of plastic deformation. The technology of extrusion of aluminium becomes complicated necessity of constant clearing of tool contact surfaces. The certain experience of application of nodular cast iron for manufacturing pressing tool is saved up at the industrial enterprises of Ural. It is established, that mechanical properties and wear resistance show the highest hot-deforming cast iron about ferrite - perlitic structure. The contents of ferrite is in a range 25 divided by 30%, and a degree of deformation is not less than 1,5 (integral on time from intensity of shear deformation rate). Efficiency of plastic deformation is shown only in case of the form preservation of graphite inclusions close to spherical. The threadlike or lamellar form of graphite reduces operational properties of iron.
