The paper offers a general description of N. Zabolotsky's letters from the conclusion, describes the context of their creation, highlights the main semantic blocks. The letters are considered in the context of the poet's late work, the dynamics of the ideological position is revealed, which led to the future expansion of the problem-thematic layer of poetry of the late period of N. Zabolotsky's work.
