The article discusses the main advantages and disadvantages of using BIM technology. BIM tech nology can simulate all the information in a real project by building a computer model. Currently, many enterprises lack effective means of control over the prefabricated construction of engineering structures. The quality of prefab ricated structures cannot be guaranteed. Thanks to the use of BIM technologies in the construction industry, engi neers can implement the information management of construction equipment. This method can improve the overall effect of the project.
