Subject to publication being data from the site of Kuchimino 40.1, located in West Siberia in Surgut Low Ob basin. Despite a laconic character of the complex and quite a detailed archaeological study of the region, it turned out impossible to introduce it accurately into a modern periodization scheme with regard to antiquities of West Siberian North. The complex could be equally attributed to the Neolithic Age and to the early Bronze Age, while a set of stone artifacts - to the Mesolithic as well. The paper aimed at involving a broad circle of experts into a discussion of the presented materials and into a search of new facts in an effort of its accurate interpretation.
