In this work, we investigated the protective properties of the medicinal plant Achillea millefolium L. under the influence of antitumor drug etoposide on the object of Drosophila melanogaster. In the course of studying the protective effect of the extract, an assessment of viability, a method for determining the genetic activity SMART and analysis of changes in cell mortality in the imaginal wing disc of Drosophila larvae were used. The results obtained indicate that the 5 % and 7.5 % concentration of A. millefolium extract has antitoxic and antigenotoxic properties related to the effect of etoposide. However, simultaneous usage of etoposide and the extract decreases regulated cell mortality.
