This article is devoted to J.Brodsky self-identifying formulas analysis and their philological receptions. Basing on material of poet's prose, interviews, and also memoire and Brodsky's biographies author analyzed personal self-conception VS his contemporaries perception and poet's creative behavior VS his contemporaries estimation. On the base of this research revealed Brodsky's main self-identifying formulas and features of his image through the eyes of his contemporaries.
