EBSD microscopy is used to study the structural and textural states over the thickness of pipe steel strips after a controlled thermomechanical treatment. It is shown that formation of a texture represented by 3 - 7 components at a great number of variants of crystallographic orientations arising under the shear phase transformations in accordance with the orientation relations implies the presence of components limiting the number of possible orientations of α'-phase in the structure of the steel. Presumably, these components are special boundaries close to RSU Σ3 and Σ11 between deformed austenite grains, which appear in hot rolling.
