The article is devoted to the manifestations of antiquity in the Russian stone-cutting art of the late XVIII - early XIX centuries. The general principles of the structure of the artistic form of stone-cutting vases, classification, reproduction and replication by classicism architects of stable ornamental compositional schemes developed in antiquity are considered.
