In this work we have studied the influence of multi-pass severe cold plastic deformation by drawing and annealing on the structure, mechanical properties, electric resistance, and processes of atomic ordering in the alloy Cu3Pd. The structure after deformation and subsequent annealing was studied via methods of scanning and transmission electron microscopy. The proposed regimes of mechano-thermal treatment permitted for us to obtain an atomically ordered alloy of Cu3Pd in the form of a wire with the properties of high strength and plasticity in combination with the low electrical resistivity and high corrosion-related resistance.
