The article is dedicated to an analysis of the main approaches and concepts in the studies of Chinese scholars on the topic of contemporary Russian-Turkish relations. Special attention is paid to the events of the last decade, starting from 2014. The relevance of the study of modern Russian-Turkish relations for the Chinese scientific community is demonstrated. The main works of Chinese researchers dedicated to the evolution of relations between Russia and Turkey in the XXI century and the key factors influencing their development are analysed. Attention is drawn to the forecasts of Chinese scholars regarding possible tendencies of further development of Russian-Turkish relations. It is concluded that Chinese scholars are largely united in their views on the current state of Russian-Turkish relations: Ankara and Moscow have come to terms with the current state of competitive-cooperative partnership between the two countries, and both countries cooperate to protect their immediate security interests; although Turkey and Russia are strengthening their relations, it is unlikely that a strategic alliance will be established between the two countries in the foreseeable future.
