The influence of a short-time heating in the temperature range 650—1000 °C with oil post-hardening on mechanical properties of 08Г2БМ type steels with a superdispersed ferritic-bainitic (martensite) structure has been investigated. It was found out that the heating up to Ас3 did not improve the mechanical properties comparing with initial condition steel ones. It was determined that steel recrystallization in case of 1000 °C heating eliminated a band structure and the associated anisotropy of the properties and the splitting as well as the liability to strain ageing
