Special features of plastic flow during tensile deformation of specimens of superfine-grained steel 08G2B susceptible to strain aging are studied by the method of correlation of digital images. The steel is heat treated by heating to 250°C with 30-min hold, air cooling, heating to 680°C without a hold, and air cooling. Standard flat specimens are tested for the tensile strength at a constant deformation rate. It is shown that the Luders strain in the tensile specimens is concentrated in the flow channels formed in the stage of macroelastic strain and related genetically to maximums of the standing elastic wave.
