This paper presents the results of using virtual technologies of information modeling for optimization of production processes and radiation protection of personnel. A power unit with BN-600 reactor is considered as an example. The information model of radiation-hazardous room is realized. With the help of this model several applied tasks are solved. Optimization of repair works in the investigated room and use of the three-dimensional model for personnel training in order to reduce the dose load.
