It has been studied the morphology and chemical composition of three different fraction types Al-12% Si powder (AKD- 12). Original installation of metal melt spraying in high-purity nitrogen atmosphere has been used for the production of powders. It has been carried out mechanical properties and morphology of the outer surface and the failure surface of workpieces obtained by the method of selective laser melting of powders with fraction less than 45 μm. It has been shown that the mechanical properties of investigated workpieces are better than abroad competitors’ analogues: strength σв = 425 MPa, ductility - δ = 12%.
