Structure and properties of hot deformation intermediate product from alloy Ti-3Al-2.5V, used to develop manufacturing hotpressed stock pipes were studied by using methods of microstructure, thermal and thermo-mechanical analysis. Сalculation methods for assessing the polymorphic transformation temperature allows you to narrow down desired interval to determine the alloy by quenching test. Temperature range is determined for extrusion in two-phase region taking into account deformation of heating by thermal analysis and thermomechanical laboratory tests.
