High wear and corrosion of parts lead to an increase in maintenance costs for the repair of thermal plants, incineration plants, metallurgical machines. In this paper, a possible solution to this problem is shown with the help of coatings obtained by arc metallization. Powder wires of the basic Fe-Cr-Al alloying system, additionally doped with B and Y, were used in the sprayed material. The coatings were evaluated for the heat resistance at 700 ° C, wear resistance, and also the corrosion resistance test at 550 ° C with the precipitation of the KCl salt. The porosity and adhesion strength of coatings, the study of structure and phase composition were also evaluated. The positive effect of additional doping B, Y on the properties of the coating is analyzed. Comparison with commercial boiler materials showed that the coatings have the same level of heat resistance as austenitic steels and an order of magnitude higher than that of pearlitic and martensitic-ferritic steels.
