The article discusses the main areas of application of the Industry 4.0 concept at MMK PJSC, which allow creating a unified information basis for implementing a set of measures to optimize and improve the efficiency of both individual units, workshops, industries, and the enterprise as a whole. One of these areas in relation to blast furnace production is associated with the intellectualization of the work of technological personnel, the solution of modeling problems, the optimization of technological processes, decision support systems for automation and control of technological processes. Using the methodology of system research, the UrFU - MMK model of the blast furnace process was improved by taking into account the features of the thermal, gas-dynamic, blasting, and slag regimes, realistically available information about the operation of the blast furnace, and the uneven distribution of materials and gases, which greatly expanded its practical capabilities. Software development using modern digital technologies has led to the creation of an automated system for analyzing and forecasting production situations at the blast furnace shop of PJSC MMK, which allows us to solve a set of technological tasks for managing blast furnace smelting.
