The author analyzes the specific features of the Civil War Image in the consciousness of participants and contemporaries of the events using the data of poetry publications in Urals’ periodicals in 1917–1919 and other sources. The article includes interpretation of symbolic representations of key qualities of different images, shows an existence of alternative models of perceptions of the events of the Civil War and various images of the War.
