FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the method of measurement of accumulated high and ultrahigh doses and capacities of doses of ionising radiations by thermoluminescent (TL) detectors on the basis of aluminium oxide. The method to measure high and ultrahigh doses, accumulated in thermoluminescent detectors of ionising radiations on the basis of aluminium oxide, also in case of radiation under conditions of increased ambient temperatures, includes heating of the radiated detector and registration of intensity of heat-stimulated luminescence, at the same time intensity of heat-stimulated luminescence is measured in the temperature range of 430-630°C, and the spectral area of recorded intensity of heat luminescence is limited with a range of 250-350 nm, at the same time the value of dose absorbed by the detector radiated at ambient temperature of up to 430°C, is calculated by integral method, and during detector radiation in the temperature range of 430-530°C - by peak method.
EFFECT: increased accuracy, reliability and validity of measurements.
