The article analyzed the journalistic text from the point of view of the linguocultural aspect of the discursive informative code. The study is based on an article from the magazine “Vokrug sveta”, dedicated to the urban space of the Chinese city of Hong Kong. The study of markers of a discursive informative code was carried out on the basis of the classification of components of a discursive informative code existing in the scientific literature. The results of the analysis made it possible to identify the frequency of use of proxemes and linguoculturemes in the journalistic text of the magazine “Vokrug sveta” and to determine the linguistic and cultural relationship of informative code markers in the journalistic text about the urban space of the city of Hong Kong.
