A study to detect features in a deformation zone structure when drawing the square shape sections has been carried out. A more complex description of the deformation zone for the square shape section drawing than for the round shape section drawing was observed. Features of the stereographic inclination angle of the generating line of a drawing die and the inclination angle of working zones were determined. It is necessary to take into account for optimization of a tool configuration.
