In the structure of crimes against the person, suicide is an insignificant part. However, it is worth noting that these crimes are dangerous, as they encroach on human life and health. This type of crime should be distinguished from murder, suicide, staged suicide. The difference between driving to suicide from the above-mentioned crimes is established during the inspection of the scene and the corpse. The authors identify and consider the tactical features of the examination of the scene and the corpse, depending on the type of suicide: by hanging, using firearms and sharp tools. The algorithms of the investigator’s actions are proposed, which can contribute to the qualitative production of these investigative actions, the establishment of signs and the fact of bringing a person to suicide.
