In the present work complex oxide samples Ce1-xMexO2 (Me= Cs, Cu, Ag, Sm, Pr; x = 0 - 0.2) were synthesized by pyrolysis of polymer-salt composition. Phase composition, specific surface, the surface morphology of the received samples was studied. Catalytic activity of the obtained samples in the reaction of carbon black and carbon monoxide oxidation by molecular oxygen was investigated. Catalytic activity in the reaction of carbon black oxidation studied both in isothermal and non-isothermal conditions. A dense contact between particles of soot and complex oxide was established. «Real» soot, taken from aircraft engines on test stand, was used as carbon black samples. Catalytic activity in the reaction of carbon monoxide oxidation was studied in a flow-type reactor. Mode close to ideal displacement was realized in it. Influence of the doping ions nature (Cs, Cu, Ag, Sm, Pr) on catalytic activity of CeO2 in the reactions of carbon black and carbon monoxide oxidation by molecular oxygen was determined.
